The ASSIST ProgramSM helps meet the needs of
low-income patients who lack insurance coverage.
This program allows for a recurring 30-day
supply, up to a period of 360 days.
Who is eligible for the Program?
Participants eligible for the ASSIST ProgramSM:
- Have a total annual income below Federal Poverty level
- Have no prescription drug coverage
- Are residents of the U.S.
Are there any costs associated with the ASSIST ProgramSM?
There is no cost to apply for the ASSIST
ProgramSM. However, patients must pay a
standard $2.00 pharmacy dispensing fee and
may be subject to minor additional costs, for each
prescription filled.
How do patients use the ASSIST ProgramSM?
Patients enrolled in the ASSIST ProgramSM take
their prescription, along with their AXCAN® Rx
CompleteSM card, to a retail pharmacy.
